I had a chance to talk with the pleasant, gracious and helpful owners ss I checked out and it's clear that they love reading books as much as their customers. I'm now going to make sure that all my future visits to Middlebury include an hour or two browsing through this gem of a bookstore.
I've stopped here 2 summers in a row. My daughter begged to go again this summer. The owner is so nice and helpful and there are some really interesting books in this shop! It's worth the stop in Middlebury and you won't be sorry you did. Check out the foreign language books, there are some really interesting ones. Also, English grammar books (pictured!)
A ton of books, fairly well organized. Prices aren't as low as I'd like, but I found a few cheapies!
This is a terrific bookshop with many hard to find volumes in superb condition. The broad and deep inventory is organized carefully and sensibly in a clean, bright store.
Great selection of used books and all organized nicely. Cozy atmosphere, as well as friendly staff. Also, prices are very reasonable.
